The AIIMS Raipur Medical Students Welfare Society (ARMSWS) has stood as an unwavering pillar of support and representation for our student community throughout its existence. Its remarkable dedication in addressing student concerns and its continuous efforts to cultivate a dynamic campus atmosphere are truly commendable.
Through regular meetings and open communication channels, it has provided a platform for students to voice their concerns, suggest improvements, and advocate for necessary changes within the college environment. These discussions have led to tangible improvements in various aspects of student life, including infrastructure enhancements, curriculum adjustments, and even addressing issues related to student well-being.
ARMSWS was formed in 2018 and it’s constitution was first brought in to existence by the efforts of Dr.Prakash G Mathew ( 2012 ), Dr.Kiran Binoy ( 2014 ), Dr. Deepak Satheesh ( 2014 ), Dr.Athira S Pramod ( 2014 ), Dr.Akshaya Balagopal (2014 ), Dr.ShivaniPushpan (2015) , Dr.Purn Pragya ( 2015 ). The present edition is the 4th edition of ARMSWS and just like the previously elected union bodies has been tirelessly working for the welfare and benefit of students at AIIMS.
The Union Body has been instrumental in organizing a wide array of events and activities that enrich our campus experience. These events include academic seminars, cultural festivals, sports competitions, and community service initiatives. Such events not only add vibrancy to campus life but also promote holistic development among students, fostering a sense of camaraderie and belonging.
Through constructive dialogue and negotiation, it has facilitated the resolution of issues and conflicts, ensuring that the interests students are upheld.This has not only led to more transparent decision-making but has also contributed to a positive and productive relationship between students and the college administration.
In essence, the Student Union Body in our medical college has proven to be an indispensable component of our academic journey. It has helped to address student concerns, create a vibrant campus atmosphere, and facilitate effective communication between students and the administration. It stands as a testament to the power of student advocacy and unity in creating a conducive and thriving learning environment.

The official logo of AIIMS Raipur presents the 2 serpents entwined around the Caduceus which was the Staff of Hermes (Mercury) in Greek Mythology.
The staff is topped by a round knob and flanked by wings. The two serpents represent the pineal gland and the pituitary gland (which both look snakelike when uncoiled); the staff represents the spinal column; the knob represents the medulla; and the wings signify the two hemispheres of the brain (the wrinkled cross-section of the brain has the shape and texture of stylized wings); the number of intersections of the snakes corresponds to the endocrine glands or the chakras.

Warm greetings from ARMSWS 23-24. I, D Bharath, am honoured and elated to serve as the President of Student Union of AIIMS Raipur for the academic year 2023 – 2024. ARMSWS plays a major role in the growth of the students in each and every aspect of their college life. Starting from academics to cultural activities to sports, we aim at providing ample opportunities for our students to excel and grow as a person.
The role of a president is not merely constrained to filling the position. It also represents the voice of the MBBS students of our college. As the president of ARMSWS, I promise to solve every last problem the students might face and strive to give my best efforts for the betterment of our college.
I would also like to thank our seniors who laid the foundation for the formation of the student union of AIIMS Raipur. I am very grateful to them as without their support we could not have reached this far.

I Abhinav Gupta, will serve in the AIIMS Raipur Student Union as the Vice-President for the academic year 2023-2024.
My vision for our college is one of unity, where every student is equally represented, every dream gets a fair chance to turn into reality and students have a nurturing environment to flourish.
I will work selflessly for AIIMS Raipur and its students and ensure that I deliver to the expectations. I will become a part of a solution, not the problem.

It gives me immense pleasure to be the General Secretary of this college. I am happy that I have an opportunity to put back all that I have learnt in my life. The roots of success of a person lie in their education.Most importantly, I thank the Lord Almighty for His abundant blessings, guidance and protection. In this dark and hollow world, inspiration & light is offered only by educational Institutes and here in our institution, various clubs such as Kalakriti, Nrityashala, Darpan, Euphony, Zenith, Papyrus, STEMI, Photophilics,UMMEED work towards nurturing and polishing the concealed talent of the students. I acknowledge the Blessings of God, optimistic approach and encouragement of our college administration, active cooperation from the parents and willing support from the management. The enthusiastic efforts from the students will make our journey even smoother.
